ep.01 We Shall Win by Love

Hello, this is Minjo king.

This is my very first post following the launch of our Love Your Lover global store.

When I decided to start this brand, I teamed up with our team lead and my husband —
the three of us joined forces and poured our hearts into every part of the process,
from building the website to planning, shooting, and designing.
It’s been nonstop, but deeply rewarding.

Creating a website was a whole new world for me.
Having only run a Smart Store by myself until now, everything from start to finish felt unfamiliar —
so much so that I honestly felt like a fool at times.

While many people already know and love my illustrations,
starting a brand felt like something entirely different.
I returned to the mindset I had when I first began drawing —
ready to begin again from zero, with sincerity and intention.

Though I started off boldly, I soon faced the reality of how topics like love and sex are still restricted in Korean society.
There were moments that felt like walls crashing down.

But once I draw the sword, I believe in seeing things through.
So with a heart full of love, and staying true to the core value of Love Your Lover,
I’ll continue creating things that are not only beautiful — but also meaningful and useful.
